Evangelism on Summerfest
Spreading the good news of Jesus on the coast since 1996™.
Jesus came to them and said, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptising them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.” Matthew 28:18-20
The Gospel is the key to eternal life, and we take Jesus’ command to spread the message of this Gospel very seriosly. One of our 3 aims of Summerfest is “to proclaim the good news about Jesus to the Central Coast”, and one of the ways we do this is by running a kids/youth program monday to friday mornings. In previous years we have around 500-600 kids and youth come along each day. We have several meetings through-out the year to make effective use of this time.
We also go into the community to talk to people about Jesus, mainly through Door Knocking… If this is a little scary (join the club!)- we have great training in evangelism before Summerfest and during the week. Keen to lead on Summerfest? Fill out an application form
